Help with recent engine mod purchases

Ok I have bought: BBK 58mm throttle body, BBK FPR, SLP runners, TPI plenum heavily ported to match throttle body and runners (siemesed), mech. inline fuel gauge, Flo tech headers and matching Y-pipe. My plans are: eliminate SMOG pump and cat, drop emisions, and run at 50psi fuel. I am questioning computer problems. I know that the computer might have touble reading these mods but is it gonna be that bad??? I basically am opening the intake and exhaust as much as you can. I am kinda new to the american muscle 350 blocks and all. I am not to computer smart when it comes to american cars. I have a 97 eclipse GSX and needed to run seperate fuel management components to recogognize larger turbo, injectors, etc. With the mods I have listed, am i going to run into any problems with running rough??? Stock cam and internals. I do plan on upgrading to 1.6 rockers at some point. Let me know. thanks.

you have a MAF(mass air flow sensor) car so the computer will be fine after the mods you could burn a custom chip for a couple more ponies flow tech headers are no good, get some hooker, hedmen, SLP, or edelbrock headers and the 58mm TB isn't really needed and usually is to big the air slows down so you'll lose some of you low end torque and may gain some top end horse power with some more mods I'd keep the stock TB on for now

really, flotec no good huh???? ok, well headman will do i guess. Do you have a part number???? 88 trans am GTA 350 5.7 stock heads, has air tubes but eliminated. You say leave the stock TB on. I just spent 309 for a 58mm throttle body. Why not put it on. Your saying i wont see a difference???? What about a 52mm??? I need to know this. 58mm with 1.6 rockers and all that other stuff. With fuel turned up and ignition bumped up??? still think 58mm to big???? then whatb the hell is 58mm used for??? supercharger??? NOS applications??? bigger cams???

Yes the 58tb is normally used on larger cid engines or engines with serious mods, heads cam displacement. widely discussed here that a stock tb will support i believe 400 to 450 hp. The only major side effects of the 58 wold be less throtlle response and possible slower e.t. Some make up for the tip in of the tb by increasing the pump shot in the chip. I would have probably invested in aftermarket base manifold.

58mm tb is for the higher end RPMs.

If you dont build the engine right then you will have a motor with no power band

Mix-matching parts is never any good. Like getting a cam that has a powerband between idle-4500 (stock), your tb (power band of about 3500-6500), and then you have a car that has an actual powerband of 3500-4500. You WONT have a car that has a powerband from idle - 6500 then

See where I'm going with this? I dont mean to be rude, I just want you to know what you're getting into before hand. Better to know why now than after you put it on and things feel whacky.
