How do you store 'em? I'm keeping all my air tools in their original boxes, in a pile- which not only looks like crap, but it takes up a bunch of room, and it's a pain to just "grab one". I'm just wondering what you guys do... a toolbox? Hang 'em on the wall? Leave them in their boxes?

I've got about 10 air tools, I just through them in the bottom drawer of my tool box. They can handle the beating, and dont get much dirt that way. Just wipe it down real quick before use, and oil regulary. Never a problem yet.

i have 1/4 & 3/8 ratchets, 3/8 & 1/2 inpacts, drill, 2 die grinders, muffler gun i keep in a drawer in my middle tool box. i use mine alot and it's easier than bending over to reach the bottom drawer. my paint guns, da, gitter bug and air file i keep in a cabinet since i don't use them much. i have a few old or spare air tools i keep in another cabinet.

I keep'em all in a cabinet with little homemade holder so that all the air fitting ends face me when I open the door.
Before I pull one out, I squirt in some airtool oil, never forget that way.

I've got a ton of them. Some I keep in the middle drawer on my tool box, and the rest go in a small cabinet with wheels on it.

I have them all on my roll around cart.
I took some female ends (like you put on the gun end of the air line) and welded them to a steel plate.
I attatched that plate to the end of my cart so they all hang upside down along the edge of the cart.
I just quick release them when I want to use them, and hang them up when not in use.
Kinda the way they have them hanging from the roof of the tool truck...

I keep them in a drawer, and lined the bottom of the drawer w/ jute. If you pull your carpet back and look at the insulation that looks like its made from recycled materials, thats jute. We keep a huge roll of it at work to replace on cars when the hurricanes flood the streets.
