Is 1.94 and 1.6 valve too big for a 305?
1. Would there be any benefit installing those new sizes in a set of stock heads?
2. How about a valve shrouding?
Has anybody ever installed a pair of those two sizes in stock heads?
Comment would be appreciated.

DK,
Yes, they can be made to fit, but barely. That leads to the answer to your second question. Shrouding is a major problem with 1.94/1.60 valves in the small heads. 1.94/1.50 is a better fit, but the intake shrouding will still occur if you don't do some chanmber modifications, and probably flycut the case deck to clear the valve diameter.
But don't give up there. Far too many people seem to be "married" to the stock SBC valve sizes, and thus stick themselves with few choices. A good alternative is a 1.875/1.550 Buick 350 valve set. You'll force your machinist to use his/her brain a little to select the right cutters and stones, but they fit nicely with no interference and have a longer tip length (allows a longer installed height of the springs to let you use a higher lift).
If you hang around some of the old circle-trackers with shallow pockets, you'll learn some of these tricks. Just because Chevy designed the heads doessn't mean you can't use Ford valves in them, and the 351W engines offer some nice choices for the 350 SBC that allow a similar valve spring cushion. "We don't need no stinkin' machinists!"
