Some Kind OF Problem

got a 88 firebird 2.8 5 speed
as im driving (in 2nd and 3rd) around 2500 3000 rpms the car bucks like driving at a low speed in a higher gear
Ive replaced the wires, cap n rotar, checked the plugs and they looked fine, and ive messed with the timing a lot.
ive got no clue what it could be any answers or help?

Any engine codes? Is the 'Check Engine' light coming on? That could point to something.

Bad idea to mess with the timing, if it was right before, it will still be right. Timing wont move on its own. Have you checked the coil and module? Sounds very similar to something that happened to me on my 87 MPFI 2.8. Coil was bad, replaced it, and the coil went bad again. Module was shot, and took out two coils. I was just getting ready to do a 350 swap on it, so i just yanked it. Its not hard at all to fix though, and a search of these boards will yield a thread or two detailing it.
