Cruise Won't work...

My cruise hasn't worked as long as I have owned my Camaro....I have replaced almost all of the vaccum lines in the car and under the hood......Even tried replacing the control arm on the steering column. What else could be causing this malfunction?

I was working on my cruise control yesterday. It also hasn't ever worked.
All vacuum lines are good, and I replaced the vacuum tank prior to this because it had a hole in it.
The brake switch and the vacuum release valve at the pedal are good.
It is getting 12 volts everywhere it is supposed too and the switch on the turn stalk is ok.
Speed sensor and buffer are good.
The only things left that could be bad are the servo and the module.

There is one other thing to look at. there are 2 floating metal "plugs" in the servo that over time get covered with crud and won't allow the cruise to engage or will cause it to surge (first symptoms).

My cable was out of adjustment! I moved it 2 holes on the servo, making the cable tighter at the throttle, and now the cruise works. I love it when fixes are that simple and cheap.
