Fouling?

Ive had my motor in this car for around a year its a 350 with alm heads, and a flat top piston bottom end. it only has around 25k on it. anyways i have one cyl. that keeps fouling the plug out. it looks to be oil fouled, but the motor dosnt smoke at all. i replaced valve guide seals and it did nothing. and i poured ring seal in the oil and it stopped my oil consumption and kept the plug from fouling. so i am assuming i have a ring going bad, can anyone tell me why they go bad, and possibly tell my the best brand of ring to purchase because i am ripping it out of the car asap. i will be stroking it to a 383 because i have the funds for such a project. thanks

end gap to wide, up side down, wrong ring/wrong groove. if you're taking it apart anyway it really doesn't matter, if you're taking it apart because of this think i'd invistage and trouble shoot a bit more first

How much relative consumption, and define 'fouled'. Pics?

And try not to post up multiple threads on the same subject. It's a PITA to keep them strait.
