Intake Valve deposits question????????
I removed the intake because of an oil leak. I noticed that the valves all had a nice layer of black oily carbon build up on them on their back side and also carbon depoits up into in the ports of the manifold like I would have expected.
But the problem is One of the intake valves doesn't look like the other. It doesn't have the black carbon like the others but it instead have thick GRAY dry looking deposit on its backside and the port in the manifold and into the head for it are pretty clean with no carbon like the others had. Should I be worried about this one ? Whats wrong?
Pic of valve. Its really a lot lighter gray than the pic shows

Pic 2. You can see that the head port is realitvely clean compared to the others. The Intake itself on this one is also very clean and free of carbon.

Either I'm still very loaded or thats a 3.0. If so thye have big problems with VG seals and what you have there is an example of why most of them smoke like bombs when you let them idle for 10 minutes. The one greyish one is the only one not leaking oil.
