Just as the topic says..... it all started last night when i noticed all of the light were starting to dim.. and dim.... and dim some more... untill about 30 mins later it died.... I got a jump, and it was very dim but i drove it a couple of mile and was about .5 miles from home..... got it jumped again, very dim, basically no battery power, and drove it home...... what do you think this is??????/ The alternator??????/

 

i have alwalys heard that the altenators are notorious for cutting out on you, i think we've been through 6 or 7 so far ni about a 10 year period........i think some of those were warranty covered......one time my car wouldnt start and it turned out that the battery cable screw thingy was stripped and making a bad connection.
