You can test the fuel pump in your car by applying 12 VDC positive to the test terminal located near the fuel pump relay in the engine compartment and a good ground.

Are you wanting to test the injectors and pump on and installed in the car, or off?
A couple of tests for the injectors are to check the resistance of them with a voltmeter, shoud be 1.3-1.6 ohms, and with the engine running, check the spray pattern of the injectors, it should spray the fuel in the shape of a cone.
For the fuel pump, turn the ignition key to the accessories position (KOEO, key on engine off) and listen for a hum coming towards the rear of the car, that's the fuel pump priming. You can also check fuel pressure on the larger 3/8" fuel line in the engine compartment with a fuel pressure gauge. Fuel pressure should be between 9-13 PSI.
I couldn't tell you where the test terminal is, though.
Hope this helps.

does this sound like a fuel problem......when i tap the gas real quick, it hesitates then revs a little. sometimes when i hold it 2 grand, even with the throttle valves open, it idles down to about 600 rpms, then it comes back up to 2000, and back and forth, with out me letting off the pedal at all.

It's possible, but it's hard to know without knowing the overall condition of the car.
Are you getting an SES light at all? How long has it been since the car has had a tune up (spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, rotor, oxygen sensor)? Have you checked for vacumm leaks at all?
It kinda sounds like an IAC valve or vacuum leak problem, but I don't want to jump to conclusions yet.

no there arent any vacuum leaks, i recently put in new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, control module, pickup coil, and coil. i haven't replaced the o2 sensor, its the same one from when the car rolled from the factory 73000 miles ago. i have checked all over for leaks, and i can't find any. is there anyway to check the iac valve?

You can remove the IAC valve and clean it. It's also a good idea to check the IAC valve port while it's out, because a lot of carbon can build up in the port and cause the IAC to get intermittently stuck or not close all the way, etc. Look towards the bottom of the "New to TBI" sticky on the TBI board. Here it is:

Sounds like it's time to replace it! I can't say that it will solve your immediate problem, but I would definetely get a new one, before it starts to.

okay, i took out my IAC and cleaned it up. but when i start my motor to suck the pin back it, it won't suck it in far enough to thread it all the way into the tbi

is the IAC valve used other than idle, i could see the pin moving in and out, viewing through the top of the tbi, as i would rev it up

If I remember correctly, the pintle moves pretty much all the time. Don't forget to reinstall the small round O-shaped gasket in between the IAC valve and the TBI unit.
EDIT: This is weird. I replied, but the thread doesn't move nor does it say I did on the board.
