Honestly, I'd just stick with an AC Delco EGR valve from the dealer. It might be a little expensive (it all just depends, in my case, NAPA wanted $85, dealer wanted $94), but I personally don't trust those "universal" EGR valves that most auto parts stores sell, which require you to install orifices/washers to work right on your engine.
But, to keep the price down, if you get the part number for your EGR valve from the dealer, you can go a to website such as www.gmpartsdirect.com or www.newgmparts.com and get one their, and it'll be cheaper than the dealer.
EDIT: Disregard first paragraph, I forgot that the 3.1L engines use digital EGR valves.
