How much of a difference will CNCing the CC make?

How much of a difference will CNCing the CC make?
Ive been lookin into the alum. TrickFlow heads for my 383, and Ive noticed that have an option to CNC the combustion chambers. How much will this help out performance? My guess wud be that it helps detonation, being smoother. But for a street motor, is it really the xtra $$$ to do it?
