Trick Flow on a 305
I have heard on the G2 heads working on a 305. I have found the flow numbers to be 250+ intake and 200+ exhaust @.500" lift. I imagine that at some point you start to get too much flow capability and start to hurt performace. Does anyone know how much flow is too much for a 305? The heads can flow double what the engine can hold at 5750 rpm. (100% v.e.) Mostly concerned on a complete performance upgrade that has the engine producing peak numbers at 6000 rpm - hp and at 4500 rpm - torque. (90+% v.e.)
I have never tried a set of G2 heads on a 305 and I think I remember Artie at Trick Flow say they won't fit. G1 heads will definitely work, though. I ran my G1 heads on my original LB9 for 50k miles with a Crane 2032HR and AFPR. It was a very nice combo.
