My speedo stops at 110........... So does my car.. why is that.. the govenor or whatever.. Also how would I remove it so I take my car to its full potential when racing...?

Ahh, you're hitting that wonderful speed limit built into all 305 tbi's. There's a value in the ECM set to around 110, or thereabouts. The ECM gets it's info from the VSS (vehicle speed sensor). If you disconnect that, then the computer won't know to cut the fuel off at that speed. However I think the TCC can't lockup if you disable the VSS, so you'll have to put a switch to do that manually.

The VSS was probably just put in there for a safety reason, as all cars with 15" non z-rated tires also got that limiter. There's a tech article on how to disable it.
