My name is lj, I own a 92 Camaro RS with a 305 centerbolt of course. Me with some help from my father have completly removed the computer from the car making it independently driven on the parts in it. We have removed the old throttle body, Intake, Distributer, and ignition system, which isnt alot really but its taking alot of trouble. We put a edelbrock performer 600 carb on top of a edelbrock performer intake. we droped a MSD billet distributer with an MSD digital 6 system but the problem im having is with the throttle bracket, we bought a generic one from autozone but it doesnt work because it pulls the kickdown cable to tight and doesnt incorperate the cruise cable. Then we tried ordering one from edelbrock made for 76 and earlier chevys with throttle, kickdown, and cruise, with th400 and 700R I believe. We thought 76 and earlier would work because sometime after that computers started being used, but this bracket doesnt work either, im thinking because its a centerbolt, Can anyone guide me to a throttle bracket that uses throttle, kickdown, and cruise, with a centerbolt edelbrock intake and performer carb?

I'd suggest a stock one off of an early-mid 80s LG4 sort of motor; you could use one out of one of these cars, a Caprice, a truck, or a G body.
