You may be running out of fuel at WOT. Checked/replaced the fuel filter recently?
White smoke is from water. If it goes away after 15-30 mins of driving, it's probably just condensation in the exhaust system.

all through the power range of first gear the car performs right? form idle to say 5k in first gear the car will go?
If it runs at 5k in 1st then it should in second also, its not a fuel filter problem. but ifs it bogs down then.... it could be a list of drivetrain/iginition/fuel problems. Hope you figure it out....

unless your tranny or other drivetrain parts are screwd up, a problem that exists in 2nd and 3rd gear, should exist in first gear as well. this has me stumped,

could it be a carb issue? cause i am fairley new to my car but i love it, and am tryin to learn as much as possible. i was reading the tech article on the ccquadra jet tuning, is this a easy thing to do, or does it require alot of skill that a first timer wouldnt be able to do? cause i know im running alittle rich, maybe its dumping too much gas in there?

The fuel that's already in the float bowl is sufficient to get you thru 1st gear @ WOT. Then when you shift to second, if the fuel filter is restricted, you'll be taking more out of the float bowl than is coming in. That will create a serious boggg.
If you're running an inline filter, you can disconnect the fuel line at the carb and stick it into a glass container of some sort. Run eng. for a few seconds. I can't tell you exactly what the flow rate should be, but it should fill a 16oz bottle in just a few seconds. Do this on a cold eng if you can, just in case you spill some fuel.
If you only have the fuel filter that's at the carb inlet, you'll just have to replace it to check it.
If it's running rich enough to bog @ WOT, you'll be seeing a lot of black smoke out the tail pipe. I've never seen a q-jet do that.
Since this is a new problem, I doubt if it's an adj issue.
Q-jets are known for NOT needing frequent adjustments.
