well not to long ago i took my car to get worked on, so i could pass emissions...well i have noticed these things, and was wondering what they were, there are three things i have circled in the pics, for some reason two valves were blocked off by the mechanic and a hose was missing from a third one..i was wondering what these valves were for and how them being blocked off would effect the way my car ran and what i need to do to get them fixed...sry for my noobish skills when it comes to my car...but i would never know if i didnt ask...thanks alot!

WAG a hose should connect the one on the left to the one on the right, left is EGR right is vacuum port to the carb. the other is fuel line.

 

so i need to get a hose to connect the far left one to the far right one? what should i do about the fuel line on the bottom? that also has a rubber block on it? and what are these not being connected doing to my car?

 

sry for my noobness but whats WAG a hose?
