My rear hatch hasn't work in a while so I tied it up and just went over bumps easy, but my rope broke. So I'm trying to find a place that has the entire rear hatch motor and the mount. Does anyone have any clue where to find these parts? I tried my local junk yards will no luck. One day the motor died in the trunk mechanism so I tied it together because the motor was all the way down and was too far apart to latch. So today I ripped the stator housing off the motor and spun the rotor with a drill. Now the trunk is down tight, but I can never use it again.

 

Ebay has them all over the place if you can't find them locally, although I would just keep checking with your local junkyards until you find one, they always get new cars in all the time so you never know. Ebay has them though.

 

i got one ill sell ya for 25 bucks. Got the whole assembly out of a 89 firebird...
