Need some info on my heads

I took some pictures so yall can see what i am looking at. The guy i bought the car from said they are 92 tbi truck heads. What i wanted to know is if they are self aligning or non self aligning rockers dont know the differnece. The casting number says 14102193.

Also would like to see if some could look the casting number up and tell me what heads they are.

EEEEeeeeeeewwwwwwwww.

TBI truck heads. Swirl-port. He told you correctly.

They should be self-aligning. It's hard to tell from the pic though; for example, I saw an engine just recently, where the top of the push rod holes looked like that (round & large); but that only went about 1/16" deep. Further down, they were the slot-shaped ones, that REQUIRE non-self-aligning.

So: if you can look down the holes, and they're the same round size all the way through, you need SA rockers; and if they're a slot that fits tight to the push rod, you need non-SA. The difference is the tip of the rocker: SA has little "rails" that locate the rocker on the valve stem. If you can be sure the motor has the original rockers, use the same thing.

The reason i am asking is because a guy is wanting to sell me a set of roller rockers and i want to know if they are going to work.

Look at the valve stem end of the rocker. If it is smooth all the way across the width, they are non-self aligning. If they have little nubs sticking over the side of the valve stem tip, they are self aligning.

That only tells you what they are. In order to know what you need, you need to verify what RB said about the holes (I've never seen that, but I know better than to doubt what RB says).

Hmmm, 193 heads with Victor Jr. intake - a match made, well, where?

Went out there and looked at it again and the rockers are flat all the way across where it sits above the valve spring
