Save that money you were going to spend on a new intake and carb, and put it towards a set of quality headers and whatever 3" catback you like.

It will pep your car up more than both of the aforementioned mods combined.

Add a dual-snorkel aircleaner and a K&N filter.
Ramairbox.com makes an aftermarket set-up for our cars.

New carb? What's that? Unless your's is cracked, rebuild and tune it. It's a lot cheaper, and more effective, since you'd have to tune a replacement anyway. The stock E4ME is capable of delivering more flow than your engine will ever need. Properly set up, you can suck nearly 800CFM through one.

A rebuild kit won't even come near your spending limit, even with the purchase of the tools necessary to properly adjust it.

i dont know about the headers a guy priced me at 300 to install them. i already have a k&n and i like ur advice on the stickin with the same carb but u can never rebuild them just right and on this one the 4 barrel isnt openin up. what about a small or mild cam, id like to get one but its a daily driver and i dont want to cut my gas mileage much.

For under $200 there's not much. I agree with headers and cat back. Try finding used set. If you're going to do an intake, definitely do a mild cam while it's apart. Don't ditch the stock carb either.

Tuned and rebuilt Quadrajets work great! Decent milage on the primaries.and you can fatten up the secondaries and hang on! Nothing better than those barn doors opening up at WOT. Baaaawaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!
