engine cut off??
i have a 87 5spd iroc...when im driving and go to accelerate in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears i notice that if i go up to around 4000 rpms there is no more power and i have to shift..it feels as if the engine is cutting off..could this be related to the clutch or do i just need a good tune up???

If it's a TPI, it could just be the inherent weakness of that system in the upper-rpm regions.
Or, maybe you just have a clogged fuel filter or cat. *shrug*
