I need to know the what's the firing order for an 1989 Camaro RS v8 305. A link to a tech spec would be even better.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. One would be the drivers side 1st plug. 2 would be the first plug on the passanger side .
The 7 prong is almost a direct shot from the cap to the spark plug so if its wired corectly that will tell you.

Just so you know... If you have a stock intake, the firing order is written on the front of it underneath a lotta dirt and grease. heh. Also, the cylinder numbers are also written on the intake, near where the intake meets the heads.

I have new exhaust system on it. All the way from the front. I got up and re-did it all this morning. IT runs great now. Changed the oil, did the plugs, cleaned the engine good, tighten belts and what not. Good old fashion check up. Running good. Thanks for all the help guys.
