Ok. When I start the car cold and drive it around it runs great. Volts are at about 14.5.

After 15minutes of driving, the volts drop to 13.5 and the car surges. Soon after, it dies. It does this over and over and over again. I'm getting COde 42. Electronic Spark Timing monitor error.

The alternator is new, the battery is new, the spark plugs are new, the wires are new, the cap and rotor are new. Could it be the Electronic Control Module?

Here's a theory (I'm certainly no expert and this could be way off)...

By the description of the code I'm thinking what if your knock sensor is bad? Maybe when the engine warms up and the ECM starts readings the sensors it retards the timing so much that it stalls.

I have no idea how you would test the knock sensor though - good luck!

Part of the code 42 is the ignition module. A lot of times the ignition module will crap out after it heats up. You might try replacing that.
