z28 or mustang GT
I'm ready to buy a car now, I'm currently looking at an 87' z28 and an 88' mustang gt. I'd like to go for the z28, but I'm having trouble findind internal engine parts for it. Is the 305 a lost cause? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
can't find parts for a SBC? where are you looking and waht are you looking for you can't find? a 305 SBC wouldn't be my first choice for a preformance engine but no reason it can't be yours

If youre looking for internal engine parts look into Summit Racings website or Jegs. Not finding parts for a SBC (Small Block Chevy) is unheard of!

Jegs is mainly where I was looking, I saw that it said SBC but below that everything was 327, 350, etc. Does that mean those parts will also work on the 305?

Call Summits tech line 1-800-230-3030. Thsy can get you whatever you need for any small block if it is available. I dont know JEGS tech line. Parts for a 305 are plentiful and majority of external parts (ie.. not crank/pistons) are interchangeable.
