Dead as a door nail, need some help
Guys this is really getting to me, The Pontiac dealer doesnt know what the problem is, and i really need my car. If you go to the nethirdgen board you can see my problem, here is a link

Have them check the start enable relay (behind the left footwell kick panel).

SAME PROBLEM EVERY TIME. when you turn the ingnition, some times you'll get a click at the stater, you have to turn it a few times and it will start, OR sometimes you'll turn the key and you'll hear a faint click under the dash, but no starter, and thats when i have it towed. Ok, Pontiac said they dont know, they replace the ingnition switch TWICE now, but they have no idea. shouldnt be the starter, its only a yr old, and when it does wanna start, the starter doesnt have any problems, SOMEONE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE help me, Its gotta be something between the switch and the starter, not a fuse. Anyone, anything please. I cant go a 3rd week in a row with no car. Thanks yall, Jimmy </font>

Ive checked it myself, it clicks just fine, took the little cover off and inspected it. Thats not the problem, and it will do it when its hot, or when its cold. I just replaced the alt and the battery terminals that seemed to help for at least a day, but now its not cranking again. I cant figure this out and the dealership is not even gonna bother. Its not Vats, and its not my car alarm, If you tap on the starter, that doesnt help. I just cant figure it out.

Have you tried checking the wiring, starting from the ignition switch and ending at the starter, to see if you have any major voltage drops along the way?
