What cam is this?
I got this cam for free and i have no clue on how to identify it. Do I need an outside caliper dile or something of that sort?

No, not a Chevy cam....
Here's what the end of a Chevy V8 cam looks like. This one is a roller for a pre-factory-roller block. One for a roller block looks exactly like it, except there's a little step on the end.
Olds uses that arrangement for timing gears, and some F*rds. Not Chevy.
