Jump started another car, cooling fans won't work now!
I helped out a friend with a dead battery and jump started his car. I noticed right after that, that I was overheating! Found out, now my cooling fans won't kick on. They were working fine just before that. With A/C on and my temp switch override switch on, neither fan will come on (dual fan set up).
I have checked fuses under dashboard and the fuse by the fan relays and all are good. Any ideas what would cause neither fan to work all of a sudden? Is there a common ground to look for that may have "burnt up" during the jump?
I can't see jump starting another car doing this, but anything can happen.

Were you drunk when you did this my any chance
If it's not a fuse, then the relay is the next most likely culprit. I'd bum ya one of mine..but it's fused
They're cheap at Discount tho..

I may go ahead and try the relays. I mean, it's rare that both blow at the same time, but like I said, anything's possible. I'm looking to more of a common between the two since they are separate circuits, one for the A/C and the other for water temp.

Nevermind, fixed it. Apparently, there is a common connector by the battery. Reseated it and they now work. I swore I did that when it overheated, but what the hell. It works. Nuf said.
