Consider this a cheapo low cost rebuild.

Stock replacement replacement parts and crappy 882 heads. Don't expect to get "high performance" from this engine. Do you have a core? exchange.

Who is Gene? Does Gene work there, or in Compalaints Dept. on the third floor of a two floor building? "Warranty"?

What are your goals?

Then that is not the engine for you. That's a 165 HP 350 from the 70s.

At best you get what you pay for.... certainly, you never get more than you pay for. Pay the least, get the least. That looks to me like near about the least you could get.

I think the engine would have a bit more then 165hp but either way if you are looking for power do it the way it should be done and pay a professional to do it.
