2.8 flooding
I have a 1985 Firebird 2.8, it floods terrible and won't stay running, it is showing no codes. I have changed plugs, wires, coil, cap and rotor. Also o rings on the injectors, fuel pressure is in range. I can unplug the mass air flow and the car runs alot better with limited flooding but sounds as if the engine is smothering with no power. Any help you all can give me will be greatly appreciated.

no problem. The fact that it ran well in limp home mode w/ the MAF off was a tell-tale sign that it was faulty.
Thanks for replying to tell us all what the fix was. You'll find there's nothing more annoying than searching through posts to find one with your same symptoms, and at the end, the person does not post what his fix was!
