Cam Selection

I need some opinions for a cam.I have a '75 flat tappet 350 bored .060 over, airgap intake,750holley dp, 215cc ported and polished dart heads, true duals with long tube headers, built 700r4 tranny with a stall from 2600-3200, 3:42 gears......This car will be doing it all. Daily driver, racing now and then, cruising down the freeway. So id like a few suggestions on what you would use and what brand. thanks

Most members of this site that still have flat tap cams swear by the Comp XE 274

With your setup it sounds like you might be better off with a slighty larger cam, if your gonna use a solid flat tappet, id probably go with comp cams XS282S or 294S. If your gonna use hydraulic flat tappet, maybe 292H or XE284H.

Im having this debate right now,

Motor is 11:1-1 Compression 355 with 6.0inch rods, Vic Jr intake, Pro Mag 1.5's, AFR195's 68cc heads with std porting.

Trying to Decide on either a XS282S or Magnum 294s.
