Oil pressure readings when priming the engine....

Well, in my time crunch to get this engine started and running by Friday(Damn county, I have another post about that), I put some regular oil in it and decided to chuck the oil pump primer tool into my drill and see what happens. Now, I know that some people said that a cordless battery operated drill isn't enough to spin the oil pump fast enought to build pressure, so I was kind of skeptical. I have a cheapie sunpro mechanical gauge hooked up to the rear oil pressure port on the back of the block. I took my 13.3V Craftsman corless drill, and spun the living daylights out of the primer tool. And what did I get???? A very impressive 55 psi reading on my oil pressure gauge. So now my question is this. What should be the correct oil pressure reading when you are priming the motor??? I figure that the cordless drill is spinning at a max of about 2500 RPM, so isn't 55 psi a little high? Would that indicate that the bearings are a little on the tight side? Just curious to see what you guys think. Thanks in advance for any info or opinions.

Cold oil, it probably means things are in good shape.

Awesome, thanks! The ambient temperature here right now is about 75 degrees so technically the oil would be considered cold. So much stuff has went wrong in the past few days because of the damn county making me scramble to get the engine in my car running just so I can keep it in my driveway. I was ready to prime the engine and figured something else would go wrong. When I saw the oil pressure go to 55 I was like and gave myself a really big
