'88 5.7 Negative Battery Cable Ground

All:

Where does the negative battery cable connect to on the serpentine belt bracket on 305/350's? (Yes, I know one end goes to the battery)

I'm trying to put a car back together, and have no clue as to where the neg cable goes.

Thanks,

-P

It doesn't matter where you put it, but its best to attach it directly to the block.

I'd rather use the factory spot if possible.

it goes to the bottom bolt hole (on my car it was the drivers side) under the p/s pump side the closest hole to the road (there are two one above the other)

I guess Camaro's are different then, as the battery is on the passenger side. So there's got to be someplace else.
