I need some quick help!!!!
Here is my story, i hope you guys can help me. Kinda long, but please bare with me.
Brand new 355 installed in my bird. Everything is peachy except for cylinder number 2. When running i noticed that cylinder was not getting hot. I changed the plug, still not better. unplugged the injector for the cylinder and ran the motor with a brand new plug in it, took the plug out and it was covered with gas, even with the injector unplugged.
That led me to believe that the injector was just dumping fuel on that cylinder(that all ohmed out at 13.5). I bought a brand new gm injector to try to fix it, same problem.
I swtiched the #2 and #4 inejector wires on the harness to make sure it was not in the wiring for the injectors. Still same problem.
I am getting great spark there, well the spark looks the same as it does on the other cylinders.
I did a compression test on all cylinders, 180 across the board.
any idea what could be causing this problem?

Check the plug wire (probably arcing to ground somewhere); look in the dist cap.
Sounds to me like a no-spark situation and of course the plug is drenched with fuel because it just passes through the cyl and wets the plug int he process.

The usual way.... by air/fuel mixture getting sucked in from other cyls when that valve opens.
Don't try to outsmart yourself. Try the simple stuff first. Don't "think" too much, just inspect the car, and find the problem. It'll be running right a whole lot sooner that way.

Yeah it is def gas on the plug.
I did not see any arcing with the hood open in the dark. I put a new plug in there, when i pulled the plug to see the spark, it had great spark.
What do i need to look for on the dist cap, it is new also. I will also check the valve lash again.
It runs pretty darn good on 7 cylinders, although i am not driving it that way.
I believe there is something going on in the cylinder spark wise, the primary will get warm, but never hot.

ohm out the wire on that cylinder and see if its bad......replace the cap and rotor again they are cheap......swap the wire with a known good one, turn the lights off in the garage and look closely at the wire and see if its arching. if all else fails swap dizzys.

sounds like that one terminal in the dizzy cap is corroded out... try just cleaning it off with a screwdriver or something before you go and spend money on a new one... just going around replacing parts until you find the right one isn't exactly productive. lol.

I will try that tonight.
I have a theory that maybe my exhuast vavle is hanging open not allowing proper combustion.
keep the ideas coming, thanks
