I just had my cam put in, and when i got the car back its was smoking white smoke for a while, but now it seems to have disappeared.
Could'nt figure out the problem, I think white is for antifreeze, so the only thing I could think that the problem was when they took the intake off, water still left in the intake my have fallen into heads and sat there till it got burned off. What do you guys think? It does not smoke on start up or when I drive it anymore.

check all the wires and make sure they arent fried

 

If the smoke had a sweet smell it was antifreeze. With the car not smoking any more I would say do not worry about it. Most all cars smoked a little bit on start up after major engine work.

 

Thanks for the quick responses guys!! Question what would fried wires have to do with my car smoking?? Forgive my ignorance.
It had a sweet kinda smell to it. But is that possible?? That when they took the intake off
they could have spilled some antifreeze in the heads?
