That depends on your definition of safe. It won't turn worth a darn, way too much body roll. But I suppose if you're careful not to wreck...

dude, lay off the crack pipe all the swaybars do is prevent body roll..

you'll notice that the car will tend to lean quite a bit, as long as you take corners at a decent speed you're fine..

my Dad's 72 big block truck doesn't have swaybars, nor did my '68 Camaro and they were just fine..

It actually helps to have it off in the fornt for drag racing too...

To answer your question a bit better - yea it's safe although don't push the car too hard because the handling will be a mess if you've got just the front disconected as your question seems to indicate.

But then you won't be driving too fast anyway because it's still snowin up there - right?
