Compression test on a cold motor?
I have an engine sitting in a chassis that I hotwired up and used an electric fuel pump to feed the gas to it, manual pump has a ruptured diaphram, anyways the electric pump I have is probably older than most memebrs on this board
and went south on me.
So didn't feel like buying another pump that'll sit for another 25 years, and ran my compression test on the cold motor.
Ranges from 110# to 150#, I'm pretty sure that a warm motor won't make a 40# difference in readings, so I'm pretty sure the heads will be coming off, you guys agree?
Engine runs pretty smooth with just a slight
stumbling after the tune I gave it (should have run the comp test then I guess).
Thanks.
