Vaccum lines full of gas!!
Vaccum lines full of gas!!
Still trying to get my new engine to run right. Its a rebuilt L69 305... I just disconnected the vacuum lines at the vacuum switch on the intake where the VAC control valve is and about a cup of gas poured out... What could be causing it to do this?
Thanks

Not for some people. If you've never worked on a CC Q-Jet before though (sounds like maybe you haven't by your question), I'd suggest you go to the junkyard and get one to practice on so you don't somehow accidentally screw up your driver. You should buy a rebuild kit, because you'll need new gaskets.

Well I already have a junkyard carb here so I went on and pulled the airhorn off. It was pretty easy. Does it just install in the same order? Do I need any type of sealer on the new gasket?
