Cooler fan turn on switch??????
Cooler fan turn on switch??????
Where can I get one of these sensors that turns your fan on earlier. My car gets hotter than I want and I want the fan to come on earlier. I've been looking around and can;t find one. Where can I get one????

easy modification:
1. cut the fan switch wire.
2. splice the wire back and connect a second wire to that splice, and run it inside of your car.
3. run a ground wire to the inside of your car.
4. Get a 2 terminal toggle switch and connect the wires to it.
--the switch will allow you to turn on the fan whenever you want, and the fan will also come on when the car gets to 220degrees if your switch is off.
this is a really simple mod, and it's cheap. this will give you total control over the fan

The easiest way to get a toggle switch to operate your fan is to do what I did. It is done all inside the car. Basically the ECM controls devices by grounding them, such as the fan and injectors. All you have to do is splice into the wire the goes from the fan relay to the ECM that grounds the relay and therefor activates the fan. I beleive it is a green/blk wire but you would have to look it up. All I did is splice into that wire and connect it to a toggle and then connect the other terminal on the toggle to ground. that's it.
There are several resources online that will allow you to find out which wire controls the grounding of the fan relay.
