Please help. I just bought an 83 Z28 with crossfire injection, took it home, and now it wont start unless i keep the starter going for about 30 seconds and give it gas. Then when it does start, it spews smoke from the tailpipes until i try to shift to drive, then the RPMs fall until it dies. WHAT IS WRONG. Please help. Thanks

i would start by checking the basic things, timing,fuel, and spark. i also would not recomend cranking it over any more than you have to. more info is required give you good help.

Throwing any codes? Are your injectors firing? Getting spark? Check not only the sensors, but also their connections and wires.
