G1 trickflow heads valve covers?

I have a set of G1 trickflows and was setting up the valves and went to put the valve covers on and they are to short. Does anyone else have this same experience with them? They are about 1/2 inch taller than stock. Thats what I am measuring anyway.. Just want top make sure with the pro's before I go out and buy some tall covers

Thanks

IIRC they aren't too short, you are hitting the supports in the v/c. TFS had people remove 1/2 the support in order to have the rockers fit. I think I actually still have a modified pair if you need a pic. Just have to find 'em.
