the other day when i was driving i was messing around and punched and i hear this light rattling it sound's like a bad idler pully but its not and it only starts when you hammer it.

oh crap i never thought about that! and i just found out that my knock sensor is unpluged but car runs fine but feels a little weak.
what should i do put higher octane gas in it?
