valve springs
would i see any improvement in power by installing LT4 valve springs on my vortec heads, but having a cam that has a .460 lift??
i have some laying around and i am wondering if it would be worth it to use them.

I believe they're 1.32" OD, so the spring pockets on the Vortecs would need to be enlarged.
I could be thinking of the LT4 Hot Cam springs though.
Measure them. If they're much larger than 1.25" then they won't fit.

they are larger, and i would need to get the pockets enlarged. but im just wondering if i would get an increase in power or not, just from them.

They're bound to be better than stock Vortec springs. As Apeiron hints, anything over 5000 RPMs, you'll see a "power increase" since the valves shouldn't be floating.
