need help finding wire
im trying to find the wire that goes to my oil pressure sending unit. i know it had a round rubber cover on it but i can't seem to find it. does anyone have any idea were it could be. the car was with out a motor for almost a year. i know its going to be difficult, but if anyone has any suggestions please post them.thanks
The main oil pressure sender screws into the block just above the oil filter. The 2-wire connector that plugs onto it (round, as you say) should be poking out of the wiring harness somewhere not too far from there.
Some (not all) 3rd gens have another sender up on top of the engine, at the back, just to the driver's side of the distributor. I believe that one is a single-wire sender, just like in Chevys from the days of old.

Start at the connector and trace your way along the split of the plastic loom, you'll find it.

He also has a dyno, wideband O2, and Holley jet kit. I've seen him doing carb tuning and jetting on the dyno and it's a very clean process.
