Urgent fuel rail question.

I'm in the process of taking the fuel rail completely apart to replace all the o-rings
and I was wondering if the joint where the fuel inlet tube goes into the rail is seperable. It doesn't seem to want to come out easily, and the service manual doesn't show it coming out in the exploded view, but I have one large o-ring in the kit that looks like it belongs there. Thoughts/suggestions are welcome. Thanks for your time.

Nope, that does not come out.... well not in any normal situation it doesnt. That o-ring has to belong to somewhere else.

Skinny O-ring? If so, there should be two of similar (but not the same) size for the fuel input and return lines on the intake.

Jethro,

Like I posted on the TPI board, the larger, small cross-section 'O' ring is probably for the cold start injector fitting at the opposite corner of the fuel rail. If you have a later TPI without the cold start valve, you now have a spare rubber band.
