POTENTIALLY BAD leak on new motor.
I'm pretty freaked out right now... As you all know the SR is a PITA to install. I don't know if I missed something, but I have coolent pooled on the driver side by the middle two lower intake manifold bolts. I'd hate to have to take it apart. I guess it's possible I spilled some, but it doesn't seem likely, given the location. I know the thermostat housing overflowed a tad when i topped it off with coolent at the radiator (after i filled the motor at the thermostat housing). But then again, there is casting in the way form those front manifold bolts and the middle lower manifold bolts. Is there anything on the superam or on a regular base manifold that can cause that?.. I know the manifold bolts are tight and have teflon paste on them. I am pretty sure that i got everything right when i installed everything. The funny thing is the motor hasn't even been satrted, so the water pump couldn't have "pumped" coolent out through a small leak or anything, so I guess unlesss I missed something real big,....it shouldn't be leaking. Any ideas?

I would fire it up and run it for awhile to see for sure if it's leaking. I'm guessing you spilled some and it just happen to run down and pool there.
