305 TBI distributor
If I change my intake and switch to a carb, will the stock distributor and what looks like a coil still work?

Your coil will work but you'll have to get one of the older style distributors, one that is not computer controled. Im am in the process of the same swap. I found a heck of a deal on ebay. Check them out for one
