just general questions about engine swaps

Right now I have a SB 305, I want something bigger...I originally was going with a 350 SB, but since joining this site I am being convinced that I won't need much to put in the BB that I've always dreamed of.... I was just wondering as to if I can use the manifold off of my stock 305 when I upgrade? Also, is there any really nice articles (trying to read everything I find on here right now) but are there any articles on swapping in a BB that you know of? I just want to know what I'll need because I'm finding a lot of blocks by themselves for sale.

No a small block manifold will not fit on a big block. The blocks are a different size.

Check the Engine Swap forum on this site; this particular swap is one of the most popular and frequently discussed, and actually put into effect (as opposed to monkey-spank about how "cool" a Pontiac motor would be, for example). People have posted pics, parts lists, how-tos, general tips and whatnot, etc. etc. etc. Everything you could possibly want to know, and then some, is over there.
