I was thinking hard about getting some vortecs...but lately I have been wondering. Maybe I should spend alittle more and have a better all around head. How do you like the 180cc dart iron eagle heads? I am looking to stay under 1000$ for a set.

Darts, protop line, or vortecs are what I have been looking at. Unless you guys know of some better heads for cheap.

I want to stay around 180cc because this is a street car. I would like to go mid 8's in the 1/8th on motor and maybe low 8's on a small shot of nitrous.

Protopline vortecs are the **** for cheap. They are alreadsy setup for performance out of the box..

 

that's what i bought!problem is they are now rumored to be owned by jegs.i have this from a reputable source,and topline's website hasn't been updated since well before christmas.
i have a friend who is a manager at jegs,so i'll give a call and see what i can find out.aside from minor casting flash in 2 or 3 of the intake ports,these heads look beautiful!gasket matched on the intakes,screw in studs,cut down guide bosses and all!hope jegs will carry these.i think mine were $450 bare
