Squealing noise while driving?

When I go past 15 miles an hour a squealing noise starts up, as I speed up it gets louder and faster. When I brake it goes away, even if I slightly tap the brakes, I think it might have something to do with my brakes but I dont know what. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

time for new brake pads!

check your rear drum brakes too, those seem to be forgotten most the time... it's amazing how many people are driving around right now with only 2 brakes.
