Dimmer Switch Adjustment???????

Does anyone know how to adjust the dimmer switch on a camaro, I can only brighten and dim my lights if the steering wheel is all the way up or down. Thanks in Advance..

Umm, IIRC all that the dimmer switches are, are potentiometers. No adjustment needed.

The dimmer switch is mounted on top of the steering column, down near the firewall. It's held on IIRC with 2 ¼" screws. You just loosen them and slide it up or down until it correctly meets the rod that the lever goes to.

OK, let me get back to this, re-reading your post, do you mean that your high-beams only come on when your steering wheel is all the way up or down? Does your steering wheel have alot of up and down play?

I meant that i can only brighten and dim them with the whee all the way up or down, and no where in between......

IIRC, is If I Recall Correctly, IIRC.
My damn dimmer switch has broken off its mount. Gotta pull the gauge cluster to fix it too. GRRRRRRRRRR. Ah well.

so this switch is all the way at the bottom of the steering column, what does it look like??

It looks just like item #66, and is (appropriately enough) "actuated" by item #69...
