I'm replacing my valve seals in my 305 and I was wondering if I can go with umbrella valve seals instead of the stock GM o-rings. I'm going with a bigger spring also so there won't be any clearance problems with umbrella valve seals right?

Yes, you can use umbrella seals.
As far as bigger springs, keep in mind they make big springs that require machining to fit the heads. Make sure whatever springs you get will fit the stock pocket in the heads.

It may also be a good idea to put a fresh set of o-ring seals on with the umbrella seals, at least on the intakes.
